The Silence

Have you ever felt the energy between words within the silences?

Are you one who is comfortable with silences?

I am painfully uncomfortable with silences. Growing up in a tense home, there was so much information and details lingering in the silence. That palpable energy that makes you feel that something is not right or that you aren’t safe.

It has been a challenge but I have grown more accepting of silences and curious about the information between words said. It has taken some time but I understand that the emotional energy is constantly changing and that if you acknowledge the energy, you sometimes can be able to shift it and heal it.
